Nicholas Brendon was born on April 12th, 1971, which makes him 29,
in Los Angeles, California. He has dark brown hair, his eyes are
hazel, and is six feet tall. Nick has three brothers, one of whom
is his twin brother Kelly. Kelly is also an actor. Kelly often
gets mistaken for Nick on the street and subsiquently died his hair blond
so he didn't get confused with is brother so much. Brendon is Nicholas'
middle name, his real last name is Schultz, according to the Internet Movie

Nick is fairly new to the acting business. His first acting gig was
for a Clearasil Commercial. Nick also acted in the 1994 horror movie,
Children of the Corn III, where he played a basketball player. He
has also appeared on Married with Children, Dave’s World, where he was
also a production assistant, Secret Lives(pilot), and The Young and the
Restless. Nicholas said he was a regular on The Young and the Restless
to help make his resumé look better.
In 1996, Nicholas
landed the role as Alexander 'Xander' Lavelle Harris on the TV show, based
loosely off of the movie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He has been signed
on for five seasons with the WB. Nick’s career has progressed rather
quickly, since its beginning.
Nick will be appearing in three new movies this year. Nick plays
Kyle, the main character, in the new horror/thriller Pinata (2000).
"Pinata" tells the story of an ancient Central American village's desperate
attempt to rid itself of a dark evil force that is cast out into a ceremonial
pinata. Centuries later, the pinata is unearthed by a group of college
students during a fraternity/sorority Cinco de Mayo scavenger hunt. Cracked
open, the pinata's sin-filled soul escapes and the students must battle
its vengeful evil spirits.
He also has a large roll as Starcat in the Comedy/Horror/Thriller movie
Psycho
Beach Party (2000). Psycho Beach Party centers on Chicklet [Lauren
Ambrose(Can't Hardly Wait)], a wanna-be surf-girl with multiple-personalities
who is a suspect when a rash of murders among her friends takes place,
and when the clues take her to the beach, the fun begins. Nick's
third movie is entitled Pirate, but nothing much is known about his character
or the movie's plot.
Nick and Kelly, his twin brother, got a chance to work together on Buffy
in the season 5 episode entitled 'The Replacement' where there are two
Xanders. Kelly gets to speak a few lines, dispite the fact the Nick
was still used for most of the face on shots. It was wonderful to
see the two brothers acting together.
Nicholas has been very busy with his new movies. Spiderman is one
of Nick's dream roles, but imagine his surprise that he was actually one
of the main contenders for the new Spiderman film. Too bad Toby Maguire,
even though he is an awesome actor, is already picked for the role as Spidy,
but maybe one day we'll see Nick as Peter Parker. |
