Everybody has heard about the network competition for Buffy. Since Buffy's contract with the WB is now over, the show may be changing networks.  Will this affect us Canadians who watch the show on the New VR.  I e-mailed the New VR and inquiry and here is their reply.  Click to view the full e-mails.

Hi there!

Thanks for writing to YTV.  'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' currently
airs on Saturday at 8pm E/P.  Although we can't speak for other networks we
can assure you that we currently hold the rights to Episodes 79 to 100
of Season Five and we will be carrying the series next season.  We do not
produce the show so therefore do not know what will happen with the storylines,
etc, but we can assure you that we will be airing Buffy.  We do not know when
new episodes will begin, we will go into repeats for awhile.

Hi there!
Thanks for writing to YTV.  We cannot speak for other networks or say if it
will affect us or not, but we can tell you that Buffy is currently in our
schedule Saturday at 8pm E/P and that we will be airing a new episode on
April 21.  Please note, however, that all schedules are subject to change
without notice.
